Information we use and why
This website has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account system and no embedded scheduling widget. Arcadian Data does not receive personal information merely because you read a page, other than the limited request information needed to deliver and protect the site through Cloudflare.
- Website delivery and security: Cloudflare may process an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device information, HTTP headers and security or routing information to serve the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults.
- Bookings: Google Calendar processes the name, email address and any telephone, company or other information you choose to submit. Arcadian Data receives the resulting booking details to arrange and manage the call.
- Email: email sent to hello@arcadiandata.co.uk is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox used by Arcadian Data. Cloudflare processes the message and routing information needed to forward it. We use your email address, name, message, attachments and related correspondence to respond and manage the enquiry.
Lawful bases
- We rely on our legitimate interests in securely delivering and protecting a business website for the limited Cloudflare request processing described above. Those interests are necessary to make the website available and have a limited effect on visitors.
- We rely on your consent for booking and email enquiries. Submitting the Google Calendar form or sending us an email after seeing the relevant notice is the affirmative action by which you give that consent.
- Where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, we rely on the applicable legal obligation or our legitimate interests in protecting the company’s legal rights.
You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@arcadiandata.co.uk. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal. If you do not provide the information required for a booking or email enquiry, we may be unable to arrange the call or respond.
Analytics, cookies and similar technologies
Arcadian Data does not currently use website analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or browser storage. Cloudflare may place strictly necessary security cookies or similar tokens when a security or challenge feature is needed to protect and deliver the site. No non-essential storage or access technology is enabled, so the site does not show a cookie-consent banner. We will obtain any consent required before enabling a non-essential technology and will update this notice first.
Processors and other recipients
We use Cloudflare to host, deliver and protect the website and to route incoming email. The Cloudflare account is owned by ARCADIAN DATA LTD. For relevant customer personal data, Cloudflare acts on our behalf under its applicable customer data-processing terms. It may separately process limited network, account and service data for its own operational, security and legal purposes as described in its notice.
Google provides the Gmail destination inbox and Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Both currently use consumer Google accounts, not paid Google Workspace accounts. Arcadian Data has not engaged Google as its processor for these consumer services and does not have a data-processing agreement with Google for them. Google receives and stores forwarded email and booking information under its consumer terms and Privacy Policy and may process account, service, security and usage information for its own purposes. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for third-party advertising.
Read the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Booking and email
Booking is handled on the Google Calendar website; no Google booking widget or script is embedded here. When you follow the link, Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its own Privacy Policy. Incoming email is forwarded by Cloudflare to the Gmail inbox described above. Email and booking information is available only to people who need it to respond to the enquiry, arrange the call, administer the relevant services or meet a legal obligation.
LinkedIn and other external websites
The Arcadian Data LinkedIn link is a normal outbound link; this website does not embed a LinkedIn plugin, pixel or remotely hosted logo. If you follow the link, LinkedIn may receive your IP address, device and referral information and may use cookies or similar technologies under its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Other external websites are responsible for their own privacy practices.
International transfers
Google and Cloudflare operate internationally, so personal information may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where Arcadian Data is responsible for a restricted transfer to a processor, we use the safeguards in the provider’s applicable data-processing terms, including approved contractual transfer terms where required. Google describes its international processing and transfer protections in its Privacy Policy. You may request further information using the privacy contact above.
How long we keep information
Arcadian Data keeps booking information, email enquiries and related correspondence for up to one year from the last substantive interaction. We delete it sooner after a valid withdrawal request where no other lawful basis requires retention. Limited information may be retained for longer where necessary to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Provider backups, security records and service data may follow the providers’ documented deletion cycles.
Security and automated decisions
We use access controls, account security and the security measures provided by Cloudflare and Google to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We do not use the information covered by this notice for profiling or solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to particular uses. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email hello@arcadiandata.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
Changes to this notice
We will publish updates on this page and revise the review date. Where a material change affects current processing and we hold your contact details, we will notify you by email before the new processing begins where required. This notice is reviewed at least once a year and sooner when our services or providers change.
